Fanny & Rory
Fanny & Rory is the London & Paris based directing duo of Fanny Usher and Rory DCS. Their approach is to not take the fashion industry too seriously, specialising in a digital-first approach to projects by prioritising fun and collaboration, with a “solutions not problems” attitude. With backgrounds in social media, digital art direction, video and photography, they found they were able to offer clients a more multi-disciplinary and flexible approach to campaigns that feels more in-line with the new media landscape.
In 2020, after 8 combined years as Art Directors at Burberry, they launched their creative studio where they collaborated with a number of clients, principally creative direction and social directing for H&M’s global brand campaigns and also projects with Loewe, Farfetch and Bureau Betak.
In the last 2 years they have found themselves concentrating more on the directing element of campaigns, which has now become their main focus, continuing on with existing clients H&M, Burberry and Loewe in this new capacity, as well as adding new clients in Ralph Lauren, Tommy Hilfiger, Hunza G, Veuve Cliquot, Nike,Saks 5th Avenue and Diet Coke.
